PLATE TECTONICS

Theory of plate tectonics paragraphs.

        Plate tectonics is a theory that describe the plate movement.I agree with the plate tectonic because the movement of the plate created the seven continent that we have now on the earth.
        One piece of evidence show that plate tectonics can be trust is when the plate move it creates different kinds of boundary. Divergent boundary, Convergent boundary, and Transform boundary. Divergent boundary is when two move from each other, it creates the rift valley. When it happen under the ocean we call it seafloor spreading and it expand the ocean base. Convergent boundary is when two plate comes together, it creates different type of mountain. Transform boundary is when two plates move side by side, it creates earthquake. When it happen under the ocean it creates tsunami.
        Another piece of evidence show that plate tectonics can be trust is the theory of continental drift. Continental drift is the theory that describe all the plates are all together in the same plate call Pangaea. When the time goes by the big plate start to break in to seven pieces and keep moving slowly.
        Convection Current can also be a piece of evidence to show that tectonic can be trust. Convection current means that when heat from outer core goes up to the mantel and it become cold and goes down to the outer core. It effect the plate because it makes the plate move, and it happen all the time.
        In conclusion, I think plate tectonics is reliable. Because base on the evidence that I have is enough to prove that theory of tectonics is true.

What did you enjoy most about this project and why?

- I think the part that I most enjoy is when we doing the experiment, because I like to do things like that, and when we doing the experiment we remember. 

What was most challenging for you during this project and why?

- I think the part that is most challenging is to draw the Rig of Fire map. because you have to focus, is so easy to make mistake.

What new skills did you learn from doing this project?

- The new skill that i learn form doing this project is to know how to show people the convection currents.

Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain.

- I think I should draw the Ring of Fire again, because some the location that I draw is not really correct.

What would you change about this project?

- CANCEL THE RING OF FIRE MAP!!!!!!!!!!

Lunar Eclipse

Vocabulary

1) Lunar Revolution 月球公转 - When the moon's movement around the Earth.

2) Lunar Revolution length 月球公转长度 - It takes 27 days to the moon finish 
                                                                    the revolution.

3) Phases of Moon 月球相渐变 - The moon change the shape during he revolution.

4) Total Lunar Eclipse 月食 - When the Sun, Moon, Earth become a same line.  
                                                   Moon will be completely dark.

5) Partial Lunar Revolution 不全月食 - Partial Lunar Revolution can be any part  of the moon, so people can see any part of the moon.

6) Umbra 本影 - The dark side of the shadow, so it cause total lunar eclipse.

7) Penumbra 暗影 - The light side of the shadow, so it cause partial lunar eclipse.

Summary

  Lunar Revolution is the moon's movement around the earth, and it takes 27 days. When the revolution begin,the moon start to change the shape, which we call it phases of the moon.There is total lunar revolution and partial lunar revolution. Total lunar revolution is when the earth, sun, moon be in the same line so the moon will be completely dark,and the moon will be in the umbra which is the dark side of the shadow. Partial lunar revolution is any part of the moon, so people can see any part of moon,and the moon will be in the penumbra which is the light side of the shadow.And it will always happens.

    - How is earth affected by movement (revolution)?
  
         The earth rotate it self and it also revolute around the sun, so it cause day and night and seasons.
The moon revolute around the earth, so it cause different shape of the moon. Also moon have the gravity so it cause the ocean go up and down, we call it tide.



Reflection
    -What did you enjoy most about this project and why?
       
       The things that I enjoy about is when we film the video, is kind of fun to do that, cause when we filming the video we always laughing so we have to stop and do it agin.

   -What was most challenging for you during this project and why?

       The things that is challenging for me is the beginning of the video, cause I have no idea how we gonna make this video, is confusing. Although is fun when I know what I need to do.

  -What new skills did you learn from doing the project.
   
       The skill that I learned from this project is I learned about how to use the iMovie. Like how to edit a video, and how do we add background music to the video.

  -Is there anything that you could have done to improve any of your work? Explain

       The thing that i will change might be the props. Because we dont have much props that other groups do. And is not that good. so our video is kind of boring.
